HK Shares & Warrants

How do I withdraw funds from my account?

Online request

To notify us, login to www.ebshkfg.com and go to the HK shares trading page to complete and submit the appropriate online Funds Withdrawal Form. We shall acknowledge receipt of your submitted instruction through email.

We will only transfer funds to client's pre-designated bank accounts. Normal processing takes two business days. For a Standard Chartered Bank transfer, the funds can be transferred and valued on the same day.

Written request

If you do not have access to the Internet to submit the Funds Withdrawal Form, you can submit a duly signed written instruction to Wealth Manager with the following information:

Account name

Account number

Withdrawal amount

Beneficiary bank

Beneficiary name

Bank account number (pre-registration is required)

Normally, your sales proceeds on HK shares will be available for withdrawal from your account on the settlement day (T+2).

All instructions received after 11:30am will be processed on the next working day.

The withdrawal will be reflected in the account balance of your account once the process is completed.

We shall credit the money to your trading account upon receipt of the money refunded.

How can I retrieve my margin deposit if my position is closed out?

When closing out the position in your account, the initial margin and the trade price difference will be reflected in your account. You can withdraw the funds the next working day.

How do I withdraw funds from my trading account?

Please refer to the section on HK shares & Warrants. For funds generated from the selling of your positions, a withdrawal must be submitted on or after T+2 (settlement date). USD to HKD conversion is available with a preferential exchange rate.
